New Medicare Cards
CMS is required to remove Social Security Numbers (SSNs) from all Medicare cards to prevent fraud and identity theft. Starting April 2018, CMS will begin mailing new Medicare cards to all people with Medicare by geographic location and other factors. Reports of scams against older adults are already being reported.
